Vernon BC - and Eating Local is Easy
Date: Nov 9, 2009
Entry: With all the local produce grown in the Okanagan because of the great growing weather it is easy to get fresh produce in season. This year our daughter embarked on her first gardening journey with her young family and it was amazing to see how things came together as they tranformed a space in the yard.
That warmed her up for the home grown and home made. Many days were spent on our deck learning the art of big batch cooking and canning.
We hope you enjoy the video as much as we do.
