He especially likes the parades and childrens events! And, of course, Billy Barker Days. Who wouldnt want a weekend named after them?

The Community of Quesnel gathers to welcome Mantracker
Date: Oct 30, 2009
Entry: Terry Grant, known to his fans as Mantracker, was in town with his production crew to film two episodes in the Quesnel Area. The episodes will be aired in 2010 by Bonterra Productions and will re run at least 10 to 15 times.
The ‘prey’ is sent into the wilderness with a compass, a map and 36 hours to reach the finish line (40km away). Mantracker is on the trail some 20 minutes later with nothing but his Search and Rescue skills, a horse and a local guide. It is then a race to the finish and the game is over when Mantracker or his guide physically touches both the prey. It is a TV show so you are not going to suffer any consequences if you get caught, but the exhilaration of the chase is enough to make a 220 lb man ‘shake in his boots’.
Mantracker met the community to sign autographs, have pictures taken and eat lunch August 4th. The turn out was a success and donations were made to Quesnel Search and Rescue and the SPCA.
