Rocky Point Sailing Association
Date: Nov 15, 2009
Entry: Rocky Point Sailing Assocation is a community sailing club serving the entire Tri-Cities area and beyond. We are located at Rocky Point Park in Port Moody.
Our mission is to share the joy of sailing with 'kids' of all ages. We offer sailing lessons from beginner to expert, from child to adult. We encourage further participation in the life-long sport of sailing. Our instructors are nationally certified. Membership includes boat use privileges.
Our Race Team introduces youth to the Olympic sport of sailboat racing. Our youth learn to race in a fun and social setting. They forge lasting friendships with like-minded, outdoor-oriented peers. With parental help, we compete in regattas in the Lower Mainland, Vancouver Island and Central BC. Race Team members have placed highly at national events.
